U1000‑C2 UWB AOA Base Station
Single‑unit coverage · Up to 2000㎡ · 10cm+ accuracy · 360° AOA

How AOA changes indoor positioning
Traditional UWB systems need at least three or four anchors to triangulate a tag's position. That means multiple power drops, network cables, and calibration. The U1000-C2 uses Angle of Arrival (AOA) technology: a single base station measures both distance and direction to a tag, calculating 2D position with one unit. For open areas up to 2000m², you install one device – not a grid.

Deployment simplicity
The U1000-C2 supports ceiling mount (via bracket) or wall/pole mount using standard VESA patterns. The IP66 metal enclosure is designed for indoor industrial environments, including dusty or humid conditions. No external synchronisation cables between anchors – because you only need one unit per zone. Connect power and Ethernet (or optional 4G backhaul), and the base station automatically discovers all UWB tags within 35 meters.
What the U1000-C2 is NOT
Not certified for hazardous atmospheres – The device has IIC intrinsically safe design but currently lacks ATEX/IECEx certification. For explosive environments, contact us for updates.
Coverage assumes line‑of‑sight – Obstructions (metal shelves, concrete pillars) reduce effective range. In dense storage, you may need additional units.
Accuracy degrades near coverage edge – 10cm+ accuracy is typical within 25 meters. At 35‑meter radius, error may increase to 20‑30cm.
No built‑in battery backup – Requires external DC power. Use a UPS for emergency operation.
Tags not included – Works with our UWB tags (U1000‑T series). Not compatible with generic UWB devices.
One‑time cost vs. ongoing anchor maintenance – While the initial unit is more expensive than a single traditional anchor, the total cost of ownership is lower because you avoid 3–4 additional power drops, cables, and calibration visits.
Use case: 1500㎡ warehouse with AGVs
A logistics company replaced four legacy UWB anchors with a single U1000-C2 in their 1500m² packaging area. The AOA base station mounted at 5m height covered the entire zone with 15‑20cm real‑time accuracy for 80 forklifts and 60 staff tags. Installation time dropped from two days to two hours. The client also appreciated the 50Hz update rate, which gave smooth tracking for fast‑moving AGVs.
